Expandable braided sleeving for use with network and computer cables to provide a cost effective and mechanical protection. The expandable nature of the braid makes it easy to fit over cables and is ideal for cable containment within cabinets.
The special construction permits the sleeving bore to be expanded up to 300% and a particular feature is the retention of the roundness Braid will exhibit self extinguishing characteristics and will operate at temperatures within the range -50° to +150° Monofilament braid has excellent resistance to damage by mechanical abrasion and repeated flexing, the monofilaments will resist attack by salt water, oils and most common fuels and solvents Applications include mechanical protection and abrasion resistance, the product is also widely used in the manufacture of wiring looms and containment of cables The expandable nature of the braid affords ease of fitting over components with the spring back precluding the use of other fittings. The sleeving holds itself in situ.
