Cat.6A F/FTP LSOH Bladed Patch Leads provide fully screened (F/FTP) connectivity for 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications where fire safety standards are a concern. These patch leads feature foil screening around individual pairs, as well as an overall foil screen, protecting against electromagnetic interference in high-density installations.
Network administrators and installers select these cables when deploying 10GBASE-T infrastructure in commercial buildings, data centres, or environments with strict Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSOH) fire safety requirements. The screened construction prevents crosstalk between adjacent cables in patch panel arrays and switch connections.
When selecting your patch lead length, measure the actual cable run from the equipment to the patch panel. We stock lengths ranging from 0.5 metres to 20 metres, allowing you to match the cable length precisely to your installation requirements. Each lead features booted RJ45 connectors that protect the retaining clip from damage during handling and installation. The F/FTP screening configuration requires proper grounding at both ends—your patch panels and switches must support screened connections to benefit from EMI protection.
All leads meet Cat.6A performance specifications for frequencies up to 500MHz.
