Prism’s Power Distribution Unit is the only designed-for-purpose PDU. Simplicity is the key for what has become the socket strip of choice for 19” racking systems, enclosures and associated applications.
A fully shrouded neon mains switch allows localised control without the risk of accidental switching. UK, French and Schuko sockets are oriented in 45 degree steps, and IEC 320 sockets are also readily available. UK sockets feature self-adjusting cable terminations for increased safety. An external earth tag allows the rack or enclosure body to be earthed via the mains lead of the PDU.
- Four standard mounting modes include three way clip feet for end, concealed, or side mounting. Together with unique integral pull out front brackets, for horizontal 19” or flush zero-U mounting, they are supplied with every PDU.
- Installers have scope to adapt to any on-site configuration.
- Prism system, featuring rPowerTM RS232 remote power management, is quality assured throughout the manufacturing process.
- Powder coated aluminium body, distinctive and durable, is complemented by industrial strength polycarbonate end caps.
- Fixings provide inherent isolation between the PDU and rack body.
- Sockets, featuring self-adjusting cable terminations, guard against dropped cables due to vibration or thermal cycling.
